Garlic Roasted Carrots with Herbs

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 kg of carrots
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons of dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoons of dried oregano
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven
  • Baking Tray
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Wash and peel the carrots, then cut them into even-sized sticks.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the carrot sticks, minced garlic, olive oil, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper. Toss well until the carrots are evenly coated with the oil and herbs.
  • Spread the coated carrots evenly on a baking tray.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and slightly caramelized, stirring halfway through.
  • Once done, take them out of the oven and let them cool slightly.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
