Stir-Fried Chinese Broccoli with Garlic and Tofu

Ingredients:

  • 600g of Chinese broccoli
  • 300g of firm tofu
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Wok
  • Spatula
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Bowl

Instructions:

  • Press the firm tofu to remove excess water and cut it into cubes.
  • Heat sesame oil in a wok over medium heat and add the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking until fragrant.
  • Add the tofu cubes and stir-fry until golden brown on all sides.
  • Next, add the Chinese broccoli to the wok, stir-frying for about 2-3 minutes until it is bright green and slightly tender.
  • Pour soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sugar over the vegetables and tofu, stirring well to combine.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well coated and heated through.
  • Remove from heat, and sprinkle sesame seeds as garnish before serving.
